Everyday Makeup // Naked2, Maybelline, Revlon, L'Oreal ♥

Hello lovlies!
I haven't posted in a while and I'm so sorry :(

Today is going to be a post on my favourite products to use for an everyday look with a little glamour.
I usually wear this makeup look when I'm going shopping or going out to lunch, hopefully you'll like it too!

This look is just a nice, flawless foundation and a natural/brown eye shadow look.
(My hair was curled without heat and I might make a blog post on it).

Most of the products that I use are drugstore, I like to shop around for drugstore products that work wonders! So if you're a drugstore freak, this may be for you!

First I cleanse, moisturize and prime my face to prepare for my makeup :)
From top to bottom: Revlon Colorstay Foundation in 'sand beige', (top left) Essence BB cream in '01 universal', Maybelline Fit Me concealer in '25', Maybelline Fit Me pressed powder in '235' and L'Oreal Bronzer.
The Brushes are by BH cosmetics, my mum gave them to me and I'd say they are really, really good brushes.

The powder and the bronzer up close

Rimmel eyebrow pencil in 'Black Brown', Urban Decay 'Naked 2' palette, Maybelline One by One mascara in 'noir' and Revlon eyelash curler.
These are the eyeshadows used in the Naked 2 palette.
I usually use the brush that is in the palette as it saves me from washing other brushes that I may use to replace this one. So the eye makeup is as follows:
1. First colour "Foxy" is used as the base colour and I apply it all over my eyelid and just above the crease.
2. Second colour "Half Baked" is used all over the lower lid, I press it on to get more product onto my eyelids. I find that sweeping it makes the colour look less pigmented.
3. Sixth colour "Snakebite" is used for the outer V of the eyelids, and blend it inwards.
4. Third colour "Bootycall" is used to highlight the inner corners of the eyes and highlight under the eyebrows

I also use a little concealer before "bootycall' under the eyebrows to define them.

Last of all, I apply lip balm to my lips. I don't usually use lipstick. If I do end up using lipstick, I use the Rimmel Kate lipstick in 03. It's my favourite nude lipstick ever :)

All together, this all makes my shopping/ out-to-lunch look!
Hopefully you all enjoy this look as much as I do!
Love you all,
Jamie xx

Perfume collection and review // Katy Perry, Juicy Couture, Vera Wang ♥

Hello again lovelies!

Again, I have been sick and unable to find motivation for an outfit post.
I was really sick a couple of nights ago and almost fainted! (BOOO!)
I hope you are all doing well and you don't get sick, too. If you're already sick, I hope you get better soon!

So today, I'm going to do a post about my perfumes! I have eight perfumes to talk about, four day perfumes and four night perfumes :)

Okay, so these are my night perfumes.
As you can see, the bottles are dark and I find that the darker the perfume bottle, the more it is suited for night. Is that weird? ahh well :)

From left to right:
'Fame' by Lady Gaga: this perfume smells soo good! It's my favourite out of these four. It has apricot, orchid, belladonna and honey. It's not a sickly sweet smell which is always nice. I guess this perfume is a love or hate perfume though, I think it's amazing!

'Sexy darling' by Kylie Minogue: I recieved this one as a present a couple years ago, even though it's a small bottle I haven't used it all as I don't really like it. The only way I can describe it is 'spicy'. It has notes of sandal wood, pear and rose.

'Purr' by Katy Perry: This is a very fruity smell, I would say it's a very sweet smelling perfume. If you're not into that, this is probably not for you.

'Friction' by FCUK (French Connection): I love this one too! It smells like vanilla and flowers and it's so light and fresh, perfect for both day and night! The only thing is, the pump on the bottle stopped working, hmm :(

From left to right:
'Viva La Juicy' by Juicy Couture: This is so sweet and it smells like candy and all things girly! This is also not something for the people who don't like sweet scents. It is a really nice perfume though, I recommend you just go and smell it at the store :) The top notes are fruity, middle notes are floral and base notes are sweet (chocolate, vanilla, caramel, sandalwood).

'G of the Sea' by Gwen Stefani (Harajuku Lovers): This scent is perfect for the beach, if you're not swimming but you still want a nice, light and fresh smell. It has notes of apple, berries, water lily, musk and jasmine. Perfect for someone who doesn't like very strong scents! :)

'Curious' by Britney Spears: This is not one of my favourites, but it was a present from a boy and I told him to pick any perfume. The lady recommended this one... It's not my favourite but it could be yours! Its quite musky and floral, also mine did not come with the little charms!

'Princess' by Vera Wang: This is my ultimate go to perfume, I need to get a new bottle (there's little to no perfume left). This smells so pretty and just like the name of it, it is fit for a princess. I wore it to my formal and it just made me feel so much more royal. It has notes of guava, chocolate, vanilla, apricot, water lily and green apple.

Have a good week everyone!
Love you all,
Jamie xxx

Sick at home

Hey Lovelies!
I'm feeling sick today, with a sore throat and I have no energy :(
Now I've decided that I'm going to stay home and relax all day.  So here are what I have chosen to entertain me at home while I'm at home.

1. A laptop: where would I be without it? Obviously I've already started to use it today because I'm writing this blog post (hehe). As you can see I (kinda) collect stickers to put on my laptop. I don't put small stickers on it, mainly they are logo/brand stickers. Movies, blogging and social networking... excellent!

2. Tea: tea, tea, tea, tea!
What else can I say? Unless you hate tea, what other hot drink would you choose to help you relax?
Also, there's nothing better than a nice, hot cup of tea on a cold and miserable day :(

3. Phone: self explanatory

4. A Magazine: honestly, this is such a pretty magazine. It's a nice change because instead of bright pages telling you how to live life, it's more focused on fashion and art. It's my favourite magazine right now. Also, it feels like a proper paperback book!

and last but not least
5. A book: I've chosen 'Will Grayson, Will Grayson' because I have read all of John Green's other books. This is the last of his books that I have yet to read and i'm so excited to start!

So here's to everyone sick at home, laying in bed and too sick to move. I hope you feel better soon.
Love you all,
Jamie xxx
